Fire safety

A fire safety policy is mandatory for: employers with more than 50 employees (family members included); operators or tenants of a building or part of a building containing a room with a capacity of more than 50 people; and operators of commercial accommodation for more than 10 guests.

Fire safety training must be repeated annually and documented in the training log. Extraordinary training is required after a fire incident or any change affecting fire protection.

The fire safety technical compliance manual (TMMK) is the document certifying a building's fire safety compliance, recording its fire protection data, solutions and operating conditions. Our specialists prepare it end to end.

It is mandatory for the following buildings and facilities, provided they were taken into use after 5 March 2015: residential buildings higher than 5 storeys; community buildings with a floor area over 1,000 m²; industrial buildings over 1,000 m²; agricultural buildings over 3,000 m²; storage buildings over 2,000 m²; and special structures (road tunnels and underground railways). It is also mandatory when an existing building in these categories is extended and the extension reaches the statutory thresholds.
