01 Our story

A family business for nearly three decades

In recent years it has become increasingly challenging for employers to keep up with the constantly changing legal requirements of occupational and fire safety. The Job '97 consulting team helps with exactly that: with practical advice we work towards accident-free workplaces that support our partners' daily operations, ensure fine-free operation and protect their reputation.

Our consultancy has operated since 1997, initially as a family business — our team now numbers 10. Our employees and external experts form a single team, and we keep their knowledge current with continuous professional training.

The business has grown steadily over the years, but we have no explicit growth targets: our priority is good partner relationships and the mutual respect of our employees, suppliers and consultants.

Our consultants work primarily in Budapest and Pest County, but serve clients across the whole of Hungary on request — in Hungarian and English. We help build safe working environments and represent our clients during authority inspections.

Managing Director, OSH engineer & fire safety expert

Márton is our managing director, business developer and our partners' trusted multilingual safety expert. He earned his OSH engineering degree at the Budapest University of Technology; originally an economist. For nearly 15 years he has been the engine and dedicated business developer of the firm. Until 2011 he worked at the London office of a market-leading international financial company as direct advisory partner to European management, so he communicates fluently and confidently in English — the principal contact and adviser to our multinational partners.

Senior safety consultant, founding member

Tamás is the highly experienced senior safety consultant and founder of Job '97. He built his 30+ years of expertise across the widest range of industries: construction, high-rise building, automotive, chemicals, retail, hospitality, office environments, logistics, healthcare and many more. He has worked with hundreds of SMEs and advised multinationals as well. The true mentor of our team and the lead of its professional work — his knowledge is the guarantee of quality service.

Korbuly Gergely

Senior safety consultant, partner

Gergely has been part of our consulting team for nearly 20 years. His dynamic, tireless personality and professional expertise make him a reliable and well-liked partner to our clients. He has served as health and safety coordinator on several telecom construction projects and is the fire and occupational safety expert of food-industry and retail providers, screen-based workplaces, and music and dance venues. His key fields include the safety engineering of mass events and fire safety aspects of facility construction.

Safety consultant

Ferenc has strengthened our team for more than 5 years as a dependable, high-capacity, client-focused expert. His work spans the full spectrum of occupational and fire safety; his key fields are fire protection engineering solutions, preparing and reviewing fire safety documentation — policies, fire alarm plans, evacuation calculations —, chemical-safety-related OSH tasks, coordinating permitting procedures and lifting-equipment administration. He gained outstanding experience serving logistics centres, nationwide retail and wholesale networks, office buildings and other high-occupancy facilities. His work is defined by a practical mindset, precision and a commitment to regulatory compliance.

Safety consultant

He has worked in occupational and fire safety since 2019 and joined Job '97 in January 2026. Having spent his entire career in consulting, he has broad experience in retail, construction, manufacturing and warehousing environments. His main tasks include preparing risk assessments, inspection reports and other safety documentation. His goal is to provide effective solutions that work in day-to-day operations, not just on paper.

Office Manager

She joined Job '97 as office manager in May 2026. An economist by training, she brings more than sixteen years of experience in office management, financial and HR administration, and operational support. She coordinates the company's daily operations, organises administrative and financial processes, and supports the leadership and the professional team. Her work is defined by systems thinking, precision and a solution-oriented attitude.

Safety consultant

He has worked in occupational and fire safety for more than six years, gaining experience in construction, manufacturing, logistics and aviation environments serving Hungarian and international companies. His focus is hands-on occupational safety, supporting construction projects and ensuring regulatory compliance. He also supports clients as a lifting-equipment administrator and with environmental and ESG knowledge. He joined Job '97 at the end of 2023.

Occupational & fire safety specialist

He joined Job '97 in early 2018 and has more than ten years of experience in occupational and fire safety. His primary field is supporting manufacturing companies' safety operations day to day. He is also a qualified Electrical Safety Inspector and Lightning Protection Inspector, serving both the industrial and residential sectors. His work is defined by reliability and a commitment to practical solutions.

He has worked in occupational and fire safety for more than six years, with experience at multinational companies, in logistics and industrial environments, and in covering the safety of large events. He also advises SMEs, with particular focus on chemical risk management, safety training and regulatory compliance. His work is defined by a practical approach, professional thoroughness and a commitment to prevention-based safety.

Founding member

Krisztina is a founder and former office manager of the company, who to this day supports daily operations with back-office work. Her duties include overseeing payroll and contract matters, handling quotations, and liaising with our partners.
