When are hygiene measurements needed?
If employees are exposed to noise, vibration, dust, hazardous substances, inadequate lighting or climate, the exposure level must be verified by measurement. Results underpin the risk assessment, PPE provision, and the handling of any exposure limit exceedances.
Measurement types
- Chemical: airborne concentrations of hazardous substances, gases, vapours and dusts
- Physical: noise exposure, hand-arm and whole-body vibration, lighting, climate (temperature, humidity, air velocity)
- Microbiological: testing of biological agents
With an accredited laboratory
Measurements are performed with an accredited laboratory partner, so results carry full evidentiary weight in authority proceedings. Alongside the reports we provide practical remediation recommendations.
